Biggleswade - UKPN
Provided specialised services in power cabling and terminations to this substation project.
Located in Biggleswade, UK, this project is a cornerstone of the plan to accommodate 3,000
new homes in the area. The infrastructure will add 80 megawatts of power capacity,
supporting the energy needs of approximately 40,000 people. Our team provided specialized
services in power cabling and terminations, ensuring the reliable and efficient delivery of
power to the growing community.
Creag Riabhach - SSE
Completed the electrical building services work for this wind farm substation.
Located in Scotland, the Creag Riabhach Wind Farm is a significant project designed to
connect to SSE's transmission network. Featuring 22 turbines with a total installed capacity
of up to 92.4MW, the wind farm can generate 291,000 MWh of electricity annually, powering
up to 75,000 homes and reducing CO2 emissions by 130,950 tonnes. The project also
involved the recovery of over 400 hectares of peatland. As part of this development, we
successfully completed electrical building services work for the wind farm substation,
contributing to the efficient integration of this renewable energy source.
Bournemouth - SSE
Successfully delivered the HV Cabling works to enable a mission critical transformer to be
replaced.
A vital section of Bournemouth’s electricity infrastructure has been successfully energised
following a multi-million-pound programme of works by Scottish and Southern Electricity
Networks. This project enhances the area's power distribution capacity. Our team was
responsible for delivering the HV cabling works, ensuring a reliable and efficient power
supply to the local community.
